Drinking Water Violations

According to records from 2015, the EPA  said that 21 million people were served by drinking water systems that didn’t meet standards based on rule violations. The Safe Drinking Water Act regulates levels of contaminants in public water supplies. This graph tracks violations of the act over time. Elon Musk Keeps His Promise to Flint

San Diego Schools Detect Lead in Water

A recent report from the California State Water Resources Control Board indicated that there are 11 schools within San Diego county that had an unsafe amount of lead found in the drinking water. The city of San Diego have announced that they will have a delay on the audit report that was supposed to come out in June for some San Diego citizens that have been over billed for their water. The city auditor has reported that they have gone over their 2,000 hour budget for the audit already.
