At the beginning of the month, Elon Musk announced that he and his foundation would be donating $480,350 to Flint Community Schools. This money will go to all the schools in the district to supply new water filtration systems on each campus. A recent report from the California State Water Resources Control Board indicated that there are 11 schools within San Diego county that had an unsafe amount of lead found in the drinking water. The report came from testing the waters of all schools last year between February and December of 2017. The city of San Diego have announced that they will have a delay on the audit report that was supposed to come out in June for some San Diego citizens that have been over billed for their water. The city auditor has reported that they have gone over their 2,000 hour budget for the audit already.
